OSKOP is exhibiting at Education Estates 2026, at Manchester Central on 20 and 21 October.
Last year we talked visitors through the framework. This year we’re demonstrating it, with a built-up section on the stand and the fire test data behind it. You can see how the parts fit and speak to the members who make them.
The timing matters too. The School Rebuilding Programme, the drive for new SEND places and RAAC remediation are pushing a lot of work through the system, and the DfE’s guidance on MMC means 2D panelised construction has moved closed-panel systems, front and centre. For specifiers, that’s a clear steer on where schools are heading.
“Schools are asked to hit net zero, hold cost and open on time. Closed-panel timber is one of the few systems that does all three, and OSKOP shows how, in the open.”

OSKOP is an open-source kit of parts for closed-panel timber: tested build-ups, performance data, multiple UK production facilities and real project evidence, free to specify from. Greatfields Primary School in Barking is our most detailed case study to date, with a 60% reduction in embodied carbon, ask for a copy of the independent report.
Register for Education Estates below and come and see us on stand 438.
Education Estates is the UK’s main event for education infrastructure, run in partnership with the Department for Education. It puts the people who fund, design, build and maintain schools, colleges and universities in one place. More than 5,000 are expected across the two days, and over 70% hold decision-making or influencing roles.
If you specify or deliver school buildings, the people planning the next three years of projects will be in this room.
